The Role

We're looking for a React Native Developer with Full Stack experience to join our growing engineering team. You'll work on both our web platform and mobile application, contributing to our MVP document processor and building features that directly impact real estate professionals' daily workflows.

You'll join a team of high-performing do-ers operating in a fast-paced, nimble, early-stage environment. We need someone who thrives in this setting and uses AI coding tools daily to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.

What You'll Do

React Native Development

●      Mobile Development: Contribute to React Native development for our mobile application, ensuring cross-platform functionality

●      Maintain iOS and Android:  Manage and contribute to the iOS and Android release, deployment, and build process.

●      AI-Powered Features: Work with AI services (Google Gemini, OpenAI, etc.) to build document analysis and processing features

●      Contract Analysis: Contribute to systems that extract forms, tasks, and due dates from real estate contracts

●      Workflow Automation: Build features that transform contract data into actionable workflows and task lists

●      Real-Time Features: Implement WebSocket-based real-time collaboration across mobile platforms

Secondary - Full-Stack Development

●      Backend Development: Build and maintain our Rails 8.x API backend with focus on document processing and workflow automation

●      Web Frontend: Develop modern React/TypeScript frontend features with responsive design and real-time capabilities

●      API Integration: Integrate with third-party services like Google Calendar, AWS S3, Stripe, CRM systems and AI processing services

Development Practices

●      AI-Assisted Development: Daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Junie, etc.) to accelerate development

●      Testing: Write comprehensive tests using RSpec for backend and Jest/React Testing Library for frontend

●      Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards across the codebase

●      Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and other developers to deliver features

Technical Requirements

Mobile Development

●      React Native: 2+ years of React Native experience (Expo preferred)

●      Cross-Platform: Ability to build UIs that work well on both iOS and Android

●      Mobile Features: Experience with camera access, push notifications, offline storage, and deep linking

Frontend Skills

●      React: 3+ years of React and TypeScript experience with modern hooks and patterns

●      State Management: Experience with React state management and data flow

●      UI Development: Proficiency with Tailwind CSS, responsive design, and component libraries

●      Build Tools: Familiarity with modern build tools like Vite and frontend optimization

Secondary - Backend Skills

●      Ruby on Rails: 3+ years of Rails experience, comfortable with Rails 7.x/8.x patterns

●      Database: Strong PostgreSQL skills including query optimization and database design

●      Authentication: Experience with Devise, JWT, OAuth2, and secure authentication flows

●      Background Jobs: Familiarity with Sidekiq, Redis, and asynchronous processing

●      Testing: Solid RSpec experience with unit, integration, and request testing

AI Development (CRITICAL REQUIREMENT)

●      Daily AI Tool Usage: Must demonstrate regular use of AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Junie, etc.) in your development workflow

●      AI-Assisted Coding: Proven ability to use AI tools to accelerate feature development while maintaining code quality

●      AI Integration: Experience integrating with AI APIs and services for document processing or similar applications

●      Modern Workflow: Comfortable with AI-augmented development as standard practice

Infrastructure & Tools

●      Version Control: Proficient with Git workflows and collaborative development

●      Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud deployment (Render, AWS, or similar)

●      CI/CD: Familiarity with automated testing and deployment pipelines

●      API Development: RESTful API design and development experience

Preferred Qualifications

●      Startup Experience: Previous experience in fast-paced startup environments

●      Mobile CI/CD: Experience with mobile deployment automation (EAS, Fastlane)
